Join the Rwanda International Trade Fair 2020 (PSF EXPO) December 11 – 31, 2020

The Private Sector Federation (PSF) will hold its annual International Trade Fair from the 11th to 31st of December 2020. The Expo, as it’s commonly known, was scheduled for July-August but was later postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s EXPO is expected to include 450 stands, which will be set up in such a way to enable social distancing measures among exhibitors and their respective clients. The children’s space usually forming part of the event will not be at this year’s EXPO due to COVID-19, and only children 12 years of age or older will be allowed in.

Exhibitors in the EXPO, which include mostly local entrepreneurs but also exhibitors from Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Benin, Madagascar, Ethiopia, and Turkey, have expressed optimism about sales during the event since the festive season is time to buy. PSF is enthusiastic about the opportunity that the EXPO will give business people not only to make sales but also to exhibit new products that might not have had exposure due to the challenges of the pandemic. The EXPO is expected to feature items such as foodstuffs, home equipment, industrial equipment, and garments.

Other important measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 will be implemented, including cashless payments, hand-washing, and mask-wearing required of all participants.
